If you are looking for a suspenseful thriller...look no further than Awake by Natasha Preston. When Scarlett meets Noah, it was love at first sight. Noah is unlike any other boy, in that he tries to get to know Scarlett on a deeper level. The two become inseparable. Scarlett quickly reveals to Noah that she has no memory of the first four years of her life. Suddenly she starts dreaming about a little girl named Evie and a mysterious fire. The more Scarlett starts questioning her parents and her brother Jeremy, the more confused she becomes. Noah also has secrets of his own and may have a deeper connection with Scarlett then she may even realize. Scarlett's life could be in danger because of her relationship with Noah. I loved Preston's book "The Cellar", and this book has some of the same suspense and terror that her other book contained.  This title is also included in my classroom library for checkout.
